☺ It was a lovely experience, in such testing times it is so welcoming to receive a great b{&b} service. The house is set in a lovely, peaceful location, surrounded by mature trees, pastures and good looking, curious cattle. ☺ Moynure House is just a couple of miles outside Athlone but completely surrounded by countryside, and when I was there, a gorgeous mare and filly in the field to the back.  Alacoque and her husband were very welcoming and friendly, the house was spotless and very comfortable.  Breakfast was really good, with several options, served in a lovely room overlooking the fields, and with good social distancing between tables.  It was a completely relaxing stay in a beautiful spot, which I'd highly recommend.

A hidden gem near Athlone
☺ Considering the present environment, this property was just excellent. Apart from the beauty of the views and the lovely building, we felt safe yet relaxed as the welcome while compliant was seamless. We would definitely return.
